Which brand do you use for BMW?
We build with Match and Helix — both made by Audiotec Fischer in Germany and engineered specifically for each BMW series. The Grouse and Cypress builds are Match; the Whistler steps the speakers up to Helix, and the Double Black Diamond is a full Helix system. Vehicle-specific amplifiers, speaker kits and subwoofers that fit the factory locations exactly.
Where does the subwoofer go in a BMW?
The Match sub fits in the factory subwoofer location. You get deep, tuneful bass, keep your trunk space, and don't see any extra equipment.
My BMW has lost its bass, or gone silent — is that the amplifier?
Almost certainly. On BMWs with the Top HiFi, Logic 7 or Harman Kardon system the factory amplifier sits low in the trunk, where a tired trunk seal, a taillight gasket or a blocked sunroof drain slowly corrodes it — you lose the subwoofers, or a channel, or the whole system at once.
